Presentations will address why surveyors are needed to achieve high-accuracy GIS; whether State Plane Coordinate Systems need to be updated to accommodate GPS and LiDAR; how airborne and mobile LiDAR are affecting the surveying landscape; how the 2011 ALTA Survey Standards affect certification requirements; and other informative topics.
