Michael Bartholomew, President of Biscayne Engineering, recently introduced the company’s new Vice President and Director of Engineering to the Biscayne staff.

Bartholomew stated, “Things seem to show signs of turning around and we are ready for it. Biscayne is in a fortunate position that allows us to engage some of the brightest and best professionals available. Dan Tintner is one of those best and brightest and he is now on our team.”

Bartholomew added, “Biscayne has solid surveying and engineering divisions. As vice president of engineering, Dan will make our engineering division even stronger.”

Tintner is a graduate of the University of Florida with a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering and an MBA from the University of Houston. He has more than 23 years of experience as a licensed professional engineer practicing in South Florida. His project experience includes design of water distribution systems, sanitary sewer collection systems, sewer pump stations and force mains, paving and drainage design, management of various land development and roadway projects.

Prior to joining Biscayne Engineering Company, he was employed by another South Florida based consulting engineering firm for 20 years, where he served as a project engineer, project manager, director of engineering and principal.

Asked how he felt about his new position, Tintner said, “I am very happy to be part of the Biscayne Engineering team. I am excited about this company because I now have an opportunity to add to the rich history of a firm that has played an instrumental role in the growth and development of Miami and south Florida for over 114 years. That is humbling and I am grateful to be chosen to be part of the team.”
