Optech Incorporated, the world’s leading manufacturer of advanced lidar, aerial digital camera and survey instruments, is pleased to announce that a special workshop on aerial digital cameras will be held at the ASPRS User Group Session on Monday, May 2, 2011 in Milwaukee.

This workshop will explore Optech's mission to provide aerial digital camera systems for standalone or integrated lidar-camera systems meeting the needs of aerial imaging businesses. Learn about Optech’s complete camera product line, from electro-optical large and medium formats-with patented True Forward Motion Compensation, thermal/infrared and multispectral systems-to ruggedized, high-precision metric imaging systems.

A range of Optech digital cameras will be on display in the workshop to enable participants to examine Optech's high-precision camera product line, specially designed for operational flexibility, superior image quality and maximized productivity.

Experienced end-users will present case studies that offer insights into this quickly evolving field. Discussions on the integration of lidar sensors and aerial cameras, as well the advantages of using high-quality camera imagery in support of lidar data, will directly benefit attendees.

Technical presentations on the unique capabilities of specialized camera models-including True Forward Motion Compensation, geometric stability, and athermal lenses and kinematic mounts-will help attendees select the optimal options for capturing new business opportunities.
