I had several crews making gps observations (Philippines) using the Stratus units since January to present and about 3 out of 5 observations that they did with the unit came out as float solutions. Luckily we also used several Topcon Hipers together in the network and those from the dual units came out with fixed solutions. The stratus units were only used as backup units to the dual units. Some observations only lasting 30-60 minutes would be fine while other also of the same duration would come out as float. Not sure if it is with the units or gps signals. As a side note how do you test to see if the recording of signals is erroneous in a gps unit?
