The new instrument is extremely lightweight at only 1.8 pounds, and its highest sensitivity setting is double the sensitivity of the older model. The unit features six sensitivity settings; convenient top-mounted, protected controls; separate power, volume and sensitivity controls; 40 hours of operation from four "AA" alkaline batteries or 80 hours from lithium batteries; a low-battery indicator; and an optional analog/data logger output. A model with a 3-1/2 digit LCD panel meter (Model DML2000-XRM) is also available. All units are backed by a full lifetime warranty.
