UniversalPegasus International hosted an Open House luncheon for its new Marcellus Shale office.

On Wednesday, August 25, 2010, UniversalPegasus International hosted an Open House luncheon for its new onshore division Marcellus Shale office located at 601 Technology Drive in Canonsburg, PA. Canonsburg (a suburb of Pittsburg) is rapidly becoming known as the “Energy Capital of the East.” Joining with the Washington County Chamber of Commerce and clients in the Canonsburg area, UniversalPegasus held a ribbon cutting ceremony to celebrate.

UniversalPegasus’ Chief Executive Officer John Jameson and Moe Barnes, the Onshore Division Chief Operating Officer welcomed the group. Business Development Manager Ken Sullivan and Director of Midstream Services Troney Langston joined in welcoming guests to the new office. Several local representatives spoke including Commissioner J. Bracken Burns, Commissioner Larry Maggi, Representative Jesse White and Washington County Chamber of Commerce President Jeff Kotula. Client guests included representatives from a major portion of the Marcellus Shale development companies.

In 2009, UniversalPegasus began offering its services to Marcellus Shale clients and are engaged in projects in Pennsylvania and West Virginia. Services offered include engineering, survey, environmental, inspection, construction and project management. Since then, its staff has grown significantly resulting in the recent move to Technology Drive in April 2010.

John Jameson, Chief Executive Officer of UniversalPegasus states, “It is with great excitement that we commit to business growth in the Pennsylvania region and look forward to serving clients, as well as offering employment opportunities to the local community.”
