Stantec recently hired Ryan Vance as the Northern California manager for its survey and geomatics practice area. With nearly 20 years of industry-related experience, Vance will be responsible for further enhancing the company’s regional capabilities while facilitating new business development initiatives targeting the public and private sectors.  In his role, Vance will be working from both the company’s Sacramento and Modesto offices in California to service projects in proximity to both locations.

  Prior to his arrival at Stantec, Vance served as vice president for a sizeable California-based engineering firm, where he spearheaded the project work of 60 team members and 22 active survey crews operating from three offices throughout California and Arizona. Gathered from both this role and his previous endeavors, Vance’s leadership experience is complemented by the diverse spectrum of clients and industries he’s served, including projects in the education, transportation, commercial office building, residential, retail center and water/wastewater sectors.

  Vance is a registered professional land surveyor in California and Nevada.
