Reno, NV (Aug 3, 2010) - Stantec Vice President of Surveys & Geomatics Curt Chapman was recently elected as president for the American Council of Engineering Companies (ACEC) of Nevada. Serving a one-year term through July 2011, Chapman was elected by the organization’s general membership after having served more than six years as an executive board member, including his most recent post as president-elect.

In his new role as President, Chapman will spearhead efforts to continue ACEC Nevada’s mission to promote economic and business development within the engineering industry and the state of Nevada, while upholding an ongoing commitment to best practices, high ethical standards and the enhancement of Nevada’s quality of life.
