I'm surveying a lot in a subdivision that backs up to a "conservation/cypress pond area". The pond is on a property that belongs to an apartment complex. The property I'm surveying is bank owned by has a contract on it.
The previous owner or owners have used the pond as their personal dump, and there looks to be about 3 dumptrucks full of trash in the pond, in addition to some poorly built structures like a shed and board walks. None of this on the property I'm surveying, but it clearly belonged to the previous owner.
I assume the buyer has seen this (because you can't miss it).
Would you do anything about this? Note on the survey? Report it to the county?
