I made another trip to the Black Hills of South Dakota this past weekend to search for more old survey markers. On the way out I took the scenic highway through the Badlands and just happened to notice this bench mark along the road. The brakes were applied and the reverse of the pickup was quickly set in motion to see what this was. Also some added shots of scenery for anyone who is not familiar with this area of the country located east of the Black Hills. I'll show more found markers in the days to follow...
