Martin Joins Miller Legg's Winter Park Office

Bernard J. “BJ” Martin, PE, PSM, LEED AP will serve as a Senior Project Manager in the Engineering Land Development and Transportation Department.



WINTER PARK, FL – Bernard J. “BJ” Martin, PE, PSM, LEED AP, joined Miller Legg, a statewide multi-disciplinary consulting services firm in the Winter Park Office.  Martin will serve as a Senior Project Manager in the Engineering Land Development and Transportation Department and will be responsible for overseeing the Surveying and Mapping Department in Central Florida.

Prior to joining Miller Legg, Martin served as President of BJM Associates, LLC, a civil engineering and surveying firm in Central Florida for more than three years.  He was with BJM Associates for seven years as Vice President prior to establishing his own corporation.  During his career, he has been responsible for the planning, design, permitting and management of numerous projects relating to land development as well as urban and rural roadway projects.  Martin earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Civil Engineering from Auburn University in 1998.  He is a board member of the Central Florida Section of the American Society of Highway Engineers.  Also, he is a member of the Florida Stormwater Association and the Florida Surveying and Mapping Society, just to name a few.


Miller Legg is a 44-year-old multi-disciplinary consulting firm with offices throughout Florida, specializing in engineering, surveying, Subsurface Utility Engineering, planning, landscape architecture, environmental services, and Geographical Information Systems.
