Wbng.com: A local company moves into a one-of-a-kind facility in the Town of Union.

Delta Engineers, Architects and Land Surveyors has done well during the recent slump in the economy.

And as Action News reporter Gabe Osterhout tells us, the company hopes its new beginning is a sign of greater things to come. 

Employees at Delta Engineers Architects and Land Surveyors had a hand in developing it's new, green headquarters.

The facility is the first privately owned LEED certified gold standard facility in Broome County.

That means it meets high standards for energy and environmental design.

"Our architectural staff really has done a good job enhancing this building from the façade you can see from the street and as you walk into the lobby, you'll see a culture stoned wall to the left, you'll see bluestone wall with waterfalls and ROY G BIV lights that accent the waterfall," says President and CEO Anthony Paniccia.

The 30,000 square foot facility has plenty of office space on the first floor.

Delta built a 75-hundred square foot mezzanine to accommodate future growth within the company.

Delta also has instituted some green principals in the new building. ...
