Monumenting possession lines

The whole argument about surveyors monumenting possession lines when the operative record line can be re-established borders on lunancy. The only way possession lines become boundary lines are through a written agreement between the parties or by a court judgment that indicates transfer of property through unwritten means.

I now have the complete links to the scholarly articles by Knud Hermansen and Mitchell Williams. These are must read articles.
