has selected Harry O. Ward, PE, POB and SP contributing editor and
president of Harken-Reidar [
www.harken-reidar.com], to receive the 2010
Outstanding Adjunct Award.
Ward has been a member of the engineering faculty
at GMU since 1997 and has taught three classes in Engineering Design and
Computations using AutoCAD Civil 3D. He also has counseled numerous students in
the use of software applications toward solving engineering problems. He has
been a technological pioneer for the civil engineering, surveying and
construction industries and has written six university-level textbooks. He is
also known for his many lectures nationwide.
