If your state requires you to be licensed to create 3D models for machine control, would it not be the same as creating a 3D model for estimating purposes?
The cut/fills are calculated after creating surfaces for the existing & proposed surfaces. The estimating software manufacturers say the models can be used for machine control.
Should this fall into the same requirements as machine control data prep? (All data prep to me)
What say you?
