Missouri S&T to Offer Land Surveyors' Review Course with PDH Credit

Missouri University of Science and Technology is offering its 31st annual “Land Surveyors’ Review Course” on Aug. 5-7. A total of 25 professional development hours will be awarded for participation.

This three-day course, which is taught by Norman L. Brown, PE, PLS; Dr. Richard L. Elgin, PE, PLS; J. Michael Flowers, PLS; and Dr. Joseph V.R. Paiva, PE, PLS, will review of all subject matter included in the national NCEES exams as well as the Missouri-specific exam.

The Land Surveyors’ Review Course is not an introduction to surveying. Participants should be familiar with or have some knowledge of the subject. Candidates for licensure as a land surveyor, licensed land surveyors as well as non-licensed personnel interested in reviewing topics in surveying are encouraged to attend.

This course is pre-approved by the Missouri Board for Architects, Professional Engineers, Professional Land Surveyors, and Landscape Architects for 25 PDHs to be used to fulfill mandatory professional development requirements (RSMo.327.351).
