Engineered Efficiency, Inc. Launches Interactive Civil 3D Community

Itasca, IL – Engineered Efficiency, Inc. launched, a comprehensive interactive online community and knowledge sharing portal. The free site includes a traditional Blog with articles and tutorials from Civil 3D experts. What makes the site unique is the interactive components that facilitate true community involvement.

Making use of a variety of open source social networking tools, community members can interact and share knowledge in several ways.
  • Live Chat sessions with other users via text, voice and video allow for instant feedback and collaboration.
  • The Get Answers tool is for users of all skill levels to ask questions and give answers in an ongoing open dialog.
  • The community Forums let users discuss topics of their choice in a threaded discussion group format.
  • Community members can connect directly with one another from the Members utility
  • To keep up with all the activity, users can get updates via RSS and Twitter Feeds
One of the main goals of the site is to engage the community of Civil 3D users directly. “Everyone has something valuable to contribute,” says Mark Scacco, PE, President of Engineered Efficiency, Inc. “The technology used to create makes it easy for users to tap the crowd expertise, sharing what they know with others and gaining new knowledge.”
