T. Wayne Hampel Joins Sewall as Vice President of Marketing & Sales

Old Town, Maine - James W. Sewall Company is pleased to announce that T. Wayne Hampel has joined the firm as Vice President of Marketing & Sales. Mr. Hampel is an award-winning strategic marketing and tactical sales professional with 25 years’ experience in GIS, advanced mapping, and related technology industries. He brings specialized market knowledge of federal, state and local government and of public and privately held utilities, including water, gas and electric, and telecommunications.
Prior to joining Sewall, Mr. Hampel was Director of Government Marketing and Sales at Rolta International and Senior Vice President of Sales and Marketing at Surdex Corporation and ProMaps, Inc., where he managed GIS strategic marketing and sales, strategic partnership alliances, and strategic client accounts in the government and utilities arenas. He has extensive hands-on experience with all aspects of marketing, business development, and sales, including direct selling, sales tracking and forecasting, proposal generation and contract negotiation, and sales staff management and training. His many career achievements include awards for high-volume sales, largest single sale, and commitment to client service.
At Sewall, he will lead the company’s Marketing & Sales, set strategy, and build a high-performing team to bring Sewall’s broad range of integrated services to clients in government, utilities, and the natural resource and renewable energy industries.
