Hemisphere GPS Climbs Ranks in Branham 300 List

Calgary, AB –(TSX:HEM) Hemisphere GPS’ 2008 revenues has again landed the company a spot on the Branham 300 List. With revenue growth of 35 per cent, Hemisphere GPS moved up 17 positions from last year to be ranked as 52nd among the Canadian Information Technology (IT) elite.

The Branham Group also recognized Hemisphere GPS as a Top 25 IT Hardware and Infrastructure Company in Canada.

“It is great to be on the list and even better to see our rank improving every year,” says Steven Koles, President and CEO of Hemisphere GPS. “We continue to build on our success and to focus on future growth through the ongoing development of leading technology, customer prospects and new markets.”

The Branham 300 is the most comprehensive source on the health of the Canadian IT industry and holds a solid 15 year reputation as a benchmark for technology firms. The annual rating is published in the April/May issue of Backbone Magazine, as well as The Globe and Mail.

In addition to the Branham 300, Hemisphere GPS recently received several other awards including: the ASTech Leadership Foundation Award; the Innovation Award for New Technology for Western Canada; the Canadian Manufactures and Exporters (CME) Innovation award; Alberta Venture’s Fast Growth 50; the Canadian National Research Council Technology Excellence award; and the Deloitte Technology Green 15 Award.
