I surveyed a piece of property. One of the adjoiners deeds had calls written in a weird way.
I figured out what it meant almost as soon as I read it. I still thought it was interesting to say the least.
Here are part of the calls around the property:
N-37-44-W 42 1/2p Ash
E-83-45-S 17 7/8p White oak
E-81-45-S 12 2/3p Pine
E-84-N 11 1/4p Chestnut Oak
E-78-30-S 10 7/10p Spotted Oak
E-83-20-S 23 1/2p Stone
S-58-W 33p stake in Henrys Fork
So what do you the the bold calls mean?
It was very clear what they meant without spelling it out word for word in the deed.
