Does anybody have any idea as to what would have caused a nearly 700' N-S positional errror in a Garmin handheld GPS unit on the 2nd and 6th of April? Two of our engineers were out on previously collected points (using different units) and the readings they got from their units were off by nearly 700' in a north-south orientation. They both indicate they had no error readings and plenty of satellites. Checked them again on a different point the other day and they were fine. Curious if anybody has experienced this.
