DAYTON, Ohio - Woolpert, a national design and engineering firm with one of the nation’s largest staff of geospatial professionals, recently announced Matt Schrader, PLS, as director of the firm’s survey group.

Schrader moves into the position of survey director with more than 16 years of experience working with federal and state clients throughout the Midwest to develop large engineering design applications. Schrader joined Woolpert in 2000 and has overseen Woolpert’s Midwest survey operations since 2006. His career experience also includes developing software, hardware and procedures to enhance the efficiency and quality for GPS and conventional survey projects.

“Matt has played an integral role in the growth and success of our survey group’s Midwest operations,” said Paul Grodecki, Woolpert COO. “His in-depth technical knowledge will be a great asset to both our national survey operations and our clients as we build on the expertise needed to continue providing clients with robust and innovative geospatial project solutions.”

Schrader is a licensed professional surveyor in Missouri, Kansas and Illinois.
