I can not get over the compensation offered to a professional land surveyor.
I discuss salaries with my union buddies and quickly become a laughing stock, essentially "you have to go to school and get a degree to make that little? Those are early 90s wages."
I haven't been surveying very long, but I have to wonder if wages for professional land surveyors have been frozen for the last 20 years.
