Dave Schlosser, professional land surveyor, worked hard March 11 on installing a survey monument at the intersection at Hughson Avenue and Fifth Street.
Thom Clark, City of Hughson planning director, explained the survey monuments are part of the Third Street/Hughson Avenue Improvement Project. He said the project’s first phase is to survey the length of Hughson Avenue to determine the height of everything: sidewalks, pavement, etc. Also needed is the exact location of everything, especially in relationship to property lines.
