Plan Quanity/Takeoff Tools

I have run across two instances in the last month where it would have been nice to have been able to measure out the linear feet of either curbs on a site plan, or striping on a site plan.

What do you guys use?

I am looking at the Calculated Industries Scale Master Classic. I have a Calculated Industries ProjectCalc Plus calculator that I bought at Lowe's for checking building plans and converting from feet/inches to decimal feet. It works great. I see several of this brand's products at various sites, and they seem to be popular. I just have not seen the Scalemaster version.

Thanks in advance,
Jimmy
