Halff Associates Expands Transportation/Traffic Group with New Personnel and Services

RICHARDSON, Texas  – Halff Associates, Inc. (Halff), one of the nations leading architecture-engineering-consulting firms, is pleased to announce that it’s Transportation Group has expanded with the addition of new personnel and services. This expansion into traffic analysis and design coupled with Halff’s visualization design enables Halff to offer more comprehensive transportation engineering and design capabilities to their clients.

J. Michael Starek, PE, RPLS has been named as a vice president and principal heading up the transportation and traffic, planning and analysis team. He will be working with Team Leader Dean Stuller, PE, Stephen Moore, PE and Scott Booth, PE in the Halff Richardson office.

“These extraordinary men have a well respected presence in the transportation market,” said Halff chief operations officer Pat Kunz, PE. “We are very pleased to have them on board and look forward to the additional expertise they bring to the Halff family of services, particularly in the traffic solutions arena.”

Mike Starek, PE, RPLS has joined Halff, bringing with him over 38 years of transportation experience. Mr. Starek received his Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering from Texas A&M University and his Master of Science in Civil Engineering from Denver University. He is a licensed Professional Engineer and a Registered Professional Land Surveyor in the state of Texas and is a member of the American Society of Civil Engineers and the Institute of Transportation Engineers.

Dean S. Stuller, PE has joined Halff and brings over 28 years of experience. Mr. Stuller received his Bachelor of Science in Engineering Science from the University of Texas at Austin. He is a licensed Professional Engineer in the state of Texas and is a member of the Institute of Transportation Engineers.

Scott P. Booth, PE has joined Halff. He brings over 10 years of experience with him to his new position. Mr. Booth received his Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering from the University of Utah and his Master of Engineering in Civil Engineering from Texas A&M University. He is a licensed Professional Engineer in the state of Texas and is a member of the Institute of Transportation Engineers.

Stephen M. Moore, PE has joined Halff and brings over 8 years of experience. He received his Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering from Texas A&M University. He is a licensed Professional Engineer in the state of Texas and a member of the Institute of Transportation Engineers.
