LIVERMORE, Calif. –Topcon Positioning Systems (TPS) introduces the new Z63 and G63 machine control kits for dozers and motor graders.

Z63 and G63 kits incorporate Topcon’s GX-60 control box, originally a component of the X63 indicate system for excavators, and the MC-R3 machine control receiver capable of tracking all current and planned satellite system signals.

The new machine control platform, which is also compatible with excavator systems, has “more horsepower and flexibility and provides greater opportunities for increased productivity and time savings on every job,” said Lodge.

“The versatile MC-R3 receiver follows Topcon's unique Smart Building Block design making it easy to conform to all machine control needs,” Lodge said.   “Whether the user needs a single antenna or dual, indicate or automatic, radio or network compatibility, the MC-R3 receiver does it all.   The advanced design allows you to change system configurations by simply snapping in a new board.

“The GX-60 with its color touch screen display, provides operators with the easiest interface available in the market today and its powerful processor tackles large jobs without a problem,” Lodge said. “The smaller size and weight of the unit fits comfortably in all-size cabs and even bolts directly in many of Caterpillar's built-in displays in the console.

“For operators looking for a light bar option, the GX-60 is compatible with an optional LD-40 remote light bar.  Users can select up to three displays, one for the left and right sides and one for steering.
