Council vote on land swap must wait

A surveyor's error results in two City Council members building a 4,400-square-foot storage facility on city property.

Two Woodbine City Council members have created a debacle for the city by building their private storage facility on city property.
 
Scott Henning and Matt Jordan, partners in a company called Hen-Jo Development LLC, say they inadvertently built a 4,400-square-foot storage facility on city property that is adjacent to a lot they recently purchased.
 
The two are proposing a land swap with the city, but the council was unable to take any action because a majority could not be reached. Jordan and Henning must abstain from the vote due to their ownership of the property. ...
