Some of the federal bailout money could soon go toward small businesses. President Obama says he wants $375 million of the stimulus package to bolster small business lending.
Lenz & Associates Land Surveying hopes some of the money comes to Austin. The small Austin-based business is struggling. Last August the company started layoffs because there wasn't enough work to keep their full staff on payroll.
"I had to let a guy go last week who has three sons to feed, but we don't have any work for him," said Bobbie Lenz, owner.
