The PowerCrew has four GFCI protected electrical outlets providing 15 amps of power for operating tools and equipment or charging batteries. The power source comes from a standard three prong/straight blade extension cord which plugs into the outside of the box. Other safety features include an internal relay which provides open neutral protection, a red LED that indicates power is on, and a 15-amp fuse for current overload protection. The PowerCrew in-box power supply is UL approved with a NEMA type 3R enclosure, and complies with OSHA recognized test standards.
With basic tools, the PowerCrew in-box power supply can be easily installed in minutes so contractors do not need to spend time creating makeshift methods of getting power inside their jobsite boxes.
“The PowerCrew in-box power supply is the only commercially available product with all these safety features allowing an end user to power-up their jobsite box,” said Tom Schwalie, senior product manager, Knaack LLC. “It allows contractors to be more productive by charging batteries and running tools, radios or phones from their jobsite box.
Knaack LLC makes and markets a complete line of KNAACK Jobsite Storage Equipment, including storage chests, work stations and rolling work benches that keep jobsites organized and productive and tools secure. A variety of boxes are offered to meet the unique demands of each task. The company also makes and markets WEATHER GUARD Van Solutions and WEATHER GUARD Truck Equipment.
