Could someone who knows comment on which form is appropiate for insurance rating purposes in Zone X (area outside the 02% chance floodplain). Yes, I said outside the floodplain. The insurance person ordered an ELEVATION CERTIFICATE, (OMB No. 1600-0008) on four structures, two of those are houses, on a ranch, where they are clearly outside the floodplain. To be ethical, should I tell the bank that the work is not needed.
