WilsonMiller Names New Marketing Director

Naples, Fla. – WilsonMiller announced that Susan Merrigan, CPSM (Certified Professional Services Marketer), has recently joined the firm as Corporate Director of Marketing. Merrigan has12 years of hands-on marketing experience with national engineering, architecture, and planning firms in Washington, D.C., including two top ten ranked design companies.
She has experience in all aspects of professional services marketing, including writing and creating strategic business plans, marketing programs, proposals, advertising campaigns, and public relations materials. At WilsonMiller, she leads a nine-person department and works closely with company leaders to set direction for the marketing and business development initiatives of the firm’s 10 regional offices. In this capacity she is responsible for managing and implementing business and marketing plans, public relations and advertising efforts, communications materials, and the pursuit of new business opportunities.

Merrigan has held numerous positions of leadership in the Society of Marketing Professionals (SMPS) and the Society of American Military Engineers (ASME) and has served as chairperson of several committees in these and other organizations. She holds a B.A. in Communication, Law, Economics, & Government and an M.A. in Public Communication, both from American University in Washington, D.C. and is currently enrolled in the Executive MBA Program at Johns Hopkins University in Baltimore.
