I have no clue about these instruments, and I'd appreciate hearing from those of you that have a familiarity with them. How accurate are elevations that are obtained given the following:
-Stable set up on concrete pier at center of 150 diameter concrete tank.
-Surface shot is top of concrete wall of tank.
Assuming that the instrument is in good adjustment; tri-pod is stable and the the instrument person is proficient....are we looking at +/- 0.01' or +/-0.001' or +/-0.05'?
