Geospatial Holdings Announce McDonald as Executive Vice President

Geospatial Holdings, Inc. announced the hiring of Richard (Dick) McDonald as Executive Vice President of GIS Operations. Mr. McDonald brings many years of experience in the photogrammetric mapping, surveying and GIS professions.


PITTSBURGH, PA) - Geospatial Holdings, Inc. (OTC BB: GSPH) announced the hiring of Richard (Dick) McDonald as Executive Vice President of GIS Operations.  Mr. McDonald brings many years of experience in the photogrammetric mapping, surveying and GIS professions.  Prior to joining Geospatial, Mr. McDonald was employed with Michael Baker Jr., Inc. where he served as an Assistant Vice President in charge of their survey, mapping and GIS services in the Beaver and Moon Township, Pennsylvania offices.

Mr. McDonald is a Professional Land Surveyor licensed in the State of Pennsylvania and an American Society for Photogrammetry & Remote Sensing (ASPRS) Certified Photogrammetrist.  He serves on the Board of Directors of the Management Association for Private Photogrammetric Surveyors (MAPPS), a national organization with over 150 private sector firms engaged in the geospatial profession.

Recently Mr. McDonald attended the MAPPS Fall Policy Conference in Washington, DC where Federal Agencies addressed members on a variety of topics.  During the conference Mr. McDonald co-chaired a Liaison Committee meeting with the Department of Defense, the Department of Homeland Security and the Federal Emergency Management Agency.
