It fit! I knew it would, but wouldn't it suck if it didn't?!
The 600 ton crane lifted them with ease. Each of those weights weighs a little over 22,000 lbs.
We were fighting the weather, it snowed the day before and the crane and girders had to climb an 8% grade with hair pin turns. The project site was a muddy mess this morning.
Sun came out and everything fell in place. Whew! Third bridge I staked this year, the other two are completed, this one will run into December, with paving next spring.
