Officials with the National Museum of Surveying say they are on target to open their new downtown facility in Springfield by Feb. 12, the bicentennial of Abraham Lincoln’s birth.
Robert Church, executive director of the Illinois Professional Land Surveyors Association, said work is under way on the main floor of the museum at 2 N. Old Capitol Plaza.
