We need a new Data Collector with easy to use software in the field.
SMI 2008 is not an option, and I'll leave it at that.
We don't need anything with a bunch of fantastic visuals on it, just some light COGO and calc'ing items. Intersections, stake to a line and curve, etc. Rotate, translate, (align), etc.
Traverse adjustments are not really necessary.
What is the DC50 like? I keep wondering about it.
What about the Field Genius? or Carlson?
Something affordable an old SMI user can learn to use in a day or so.
Any help appreciated and needed!!!
