Lamp, Rynearson & Associates, Inc. of Omaha is pleased to announce
the recent availability of the Metro Area Reference
Network (MARN). MARN is the first Global
Positioning System (GPS) Network in eastern Nebraska with Real-time Kinematic (RTK). RTK satellite navigation is
a technique used in land surveying based on the
use of measurement signals, where a reference station provides real-time
corrections within a centimeter level of accuracy. GPS base
stations located throughout Douglas, Sarpy, Saunders, Lancaster, Washington,
and Pottawatamie counties make it possible to obtain survey accuracies without
the need of a site base station, saving time and increasing efficiency in the
field. MARN’s Eastern
Nebraska subscription coverage provides GPS users time-effective setup
and accuracy.
