I live in MA, and have completed about 3/4 of my first semester of surveying classes towards an associates degree in civil engineering technology.
My question, I have a list of surveying companies that was given to me by one of my friends through the town highway surveyor (elected position, needs no surveying experience). What is the best way of going about getting started in the field, and is it feasible for me to do it now or should I wait until I have at least the first semester of work finished?
