ERDAS Increases Presence in Washington, D.C. Area

Norcross, GA - ERDAS announces that it will have an increased presence in the Washington, D.C. area, opening a new office in Alexandria, Virginia on April 7, 2008. This new location allows ERDAS to better support users in the greater Washington, D.C. area, and provides a convenient site for the company to equip organizations and agencies to leverage geospatial information.
 
ERDAS is known for developing the most advanced geospatial technology and delivering reliable customer service and support worldwide. ERDAS’ product portfolio encompasses the entire geospatial information lifecycle of authoring, managing, connecting and delivering integrated business data.
 
The new, larger ERDAS facility will be minutes away from the company’s former office. ERDAS opened its first Washington area office on Shawnee Road in 1995.  
 
The new Alexandria office includes extensive training infrastructure, demonstration facilities, defense and civilian solution teams, a wide variety of geospatial analysis professionals and defense and civilian sales representatives.
