Since the earliest days of civilization, as noted in the Bible under Proverbs 22-28: “Do not move the ancient boundary stone set up by your ancestors,” people have depended upon surveyors to resolve questions of land boundaries, and to provide the framework for the location and building of infrastructure upon which the development of mankind has ridden.
