LEXINGTON, Ky. – March 20, 2008 – There’s still time to sign up for the Carlson Silver Anniversary User Conference to be held at the Lexington Convention Center in Lexington, Kentucky, April 14 and 15.

 

Designed for all current users of Carlson Software, and this includes C&G and Simplicity users, plus those who would like to know more about how Carlson software solutions could work for them, this is Carlson’s first comprehensive user conference in its 25-year history. Those already signed up to attend include surveyors, civil engineers, mining engineers, construction engineers, contractors, builders, and Carlson partner manufacturers and dealers.

 

“We at Carlson are really looking forward to meeting our users from around the world,” says Bruce Carlson, president and founder of Carlson Software. “We expect that all of us will learn and grow at this inaugural event as we provide intensive training over the two days and also network on future solutions.”

Comprehensive training is being offered in “tracks” and cover SurvCE, Survey, Civil, Mining, Construction and Dealers, plus an elective track will also cover a wide variety of important subjects. The expert staff of Carlson College and many of the developers of the software will be conducting the training, with CEUs being offered on selected classes.

 

Attendees can expect an exciting announcement from Carlson Software at the opening ceremonies that will benefit Carlson users across the board. Plus, there will be a surprise speaker at the Monday night banquet.

 

Those with the time may come early and enjoy Lexington. The precursor to the Kentucky Derby, the Toyota Blue Grass Stakes, will be held on Saturday, April 12, at nearby Keeneland. There is also golfing on championship-caliber courses (traditionally, the spring weather in Lexington is very conducive to golfing). Plus, there are tours of horse farms or attendees can take a trip through Kentucky’s legendary “Bourbon Trail.”
