MoreGETAC INC. introduced three new systems: the M230 laptop, the P470 laptop and the V100 convertible tablet PC. The GETAC M230 notebook computer has an ultra-portable slim design and meets MIL-STD 810F and IP54 standards for durability. It features a 14-in XGA or 15-in SXGA TFT LCD high-resolution display, an optional ATI M54 chip for additional graphics processing power, more storage (up to 120GB) and the ability to accommodate a wide range of plug-ins. It also offers an Intel Core Duo L2400 1.66 GHz processor, 2MB L2 cache and 512 MG DDR2 (expandable to 4GB). The M230 accommodates a variety of wireless options and an optional GPS receiver. The GETAC P470 is designed specifically for professional users seeking a lightweight mobile platform that offers maximum security and connectivity. It features a 14.1-in wide screen XGA LCD display with optional sunlight readability or touch-screen display and backlight keyboard, a shock-mounted 80 GB removable hard drive (expandable to 160 GB), and sealed ports and connectors within a magnesium alloy case. It also features an Intel Centrino Core Duo T2400 1.83 Ghz processor with 2 MB L2 cache and 512 MB expandable DRAM. Also available are a full range of wireless options, including WWAN, WLAN and Bluetooth. The GETAC V100 transforms from a notebook into a tablet PC and is fully compliant with MIL-STD 810F and IP54 standards. The portable V100 is 4.9 pounds and includes a wide range of standard features, including a 10.4-in screen, power-saving 1.2 GHz Intel Core Duo Platform Technology, 512 MB expandable to 2 GB of DRAM, 120 GB shock-mounted removable hard drive, integrated Bluetooth, a reversible waterproof camera and a full menu of wireless networking capabilities. The package includes the Microsoft Windows XP Professional and XP Tablet PC Edition 2005 operating system.
