Trimble introduced the Trimble VX Spatial Station, an advanced positioning system that combines optical, 3D scanning, and video capabilities and Trimble VISION technology to measure objects in 3D to produce data sets for spatial imaging projects. The VX Spatial Station enables users to blend accurate ground-based information with airborne data to provide comprehensive data sets for use in the geospatial information industry. It delivers millimeter positioning accuracy, 3D measurements and video imaging in one package. The VX Spatial Station features patented Trimble MagDrive servos, which spin the instrument more than 100 degrees per second to provide smooth control for precision pointing. The VX Spatial Station also offers Trimble VISION technology, which provides video streaming and image capturing capabilities. With VISION technology, the VX Spatial Station produces data that can be used to generate high-quality visual images in Trimble’s RealWorks Survey office software.
