McMahon Associates Inc., Mechanicsburg, Pa., appointed Jeffrey S. Ebersole, PLS, as chief of survey to its survey department. Ebersole has been involved in land surveying since 1989 and is an active member of the Pennsylvania Society of Land Surveyors.
William R. Dees, PSM, joined Lochrane Engineering, Orlando, Fla., as project surveyor for the Survey Division-Gainesville operations. Dees has more than 22 years of experience in municipal and private development projects and is a recognized continuing education provider by the Florida Board of Professional Surveyors and Mappers.
Coleman Engineering Company, Iron Mountain, Mich., announced that James Blondheim joined the firm as a project surveyor in the surveying/engineering department. Blondheim is responsible for topographic surveys, DTMs, level runs, staking right of way points, and setting control with GPS and total stations. He also performs boundary surveys, aerial mapping and utility staking.

Helmer, RLS, senior vice president at RBF Consulting of Irvine, Calif., as a fellow of the American Congress on Surveying and Mapping (ACSM). Helmer is a nationally recognized expert in GPS positioning and spatial reference systems, and serves as a board member of the American Association for Geodetic Surveying, founding officer of the California Spatial Reference Center, a member of the American Congress on Surveying and Mapping, a member of the Council of Professional Surveyors and a member of the California Land Surveyors Association.
