Leica Geosystems released Leica GPS Spider V2.1.0 software for control and monitoring of reference stations and networks. Enhancements in the latest version include improved data processing for network RTK and new display screens for the graphical user interface. The software now offers loadable background maps and a graphical, continuous raw data status view. Version 2.1.0 also supports the recently introduced Leica GMX902 monitoring GPS receiver. A new coordinate post-processing function provides for improved, slow-moving object monitoring. Both real-time positioning and post-processing now also support data rates up to 20 Hz, as provided by the Leica GMX902 or GRX1200 series GPS receivers, for detection of high-frequency object motion. GPS Spider is an integrated suite of software for centrally controlling and operating single reference stations or networks of stations. GPS Spider is modular and scalable with advanced solutions for long-range, high-accuracy network RTK (SpiderNET), centralized data distribution and data access management.
