GPSDifferential Module adds post-processing to third-party mobile GIS/mapping software applications.

Thales introduced GPSDifferential Module, a software extension for MobileMapper CE that adds post-processing to third-party mobile GIS/mapping software applications. Behind the scenes and without interrupting normal workflow, GPSDifferential Module automatically logs the raw data that is required for reliable submeter post-processed differential corrections. In certain conditions and with an external Thales GPS precision antenna, accuracy up to subfoot can be consistently achieved. The Thales GPSDifferential Module is a business partner and software integrator tool that includes MobileMapper Office software for post-processing. When GPSDifferential Module is integrated into a GIS application, raw data collection functions can be accessed that store the data in a separate raw data field that is recognized by MobileMapper Office later. This affects neither real-time data collection storage nor the structure of the real-time data format. The raw data file stored by this software extension can be post-processed using MobileMapper Office. Post-processed data is exported with attributes in standard industry formats.
