upFront.eZine Publishing Ltd. released two e-book titles for Autodesk's AutoCAD 2007 software: the updated 5th edition of Tailoring AutoCAD 2007 and the new Tailoring Visual Styles. Tailoring AutoCAD 2007 shows step-by-step how to customize CAD software. The e-book covers these tutorial subjects: modifying AutoCAD's user interface; creating aliases, keyboard shortcuts, toolbars, tool palettes and menus; writing toolbar and menu macros; and creating custom linetypes, hatch patterns, shapes/fonts and templates. Tailoring Visual Styles is the new mini e-book on how to work with the new visual styles featured in AutoCAD. Contents include: guided tour of visual styles; working with the tool palette, dashboard, visual styles toolbar and visual styles palette; commands and system variables that affect visual styles; coverage of the background and ground shadow options; and two full-length tutorials on creating visual styles. Both e-books are available as Adobe Acrobat file PDF for delivery via E-mail, FTP or web browser. The e-books are also available on CD. The e-books feature illustrations in full color; printing format for standard 8.5x11 paper; and margins designed for three-hole punching. (upFront.eZine, Abbotsford, British Columbia, Canada)
