HubTack land use records now accessible in the field using Tripod Data Systems Ranger and Recon data collectors

Naperville, IL - March 16, 2006 - HubTack, Inc., the leading commercial Internet provider of county land use records to surveyors and engineers, has announced its document acquisition service is now available via the TDS Ranger™ and Recon® data collectors. Announcements were made at the February IPLSA Annual Conference in Springfield, IL, and the OSLS Annual Conference in Midwest City, OK.

Surveyors can now access HubTack's document acquisition service using a TDS Ranger or Recon with 802.11 or Bluetooth, giving survey crews the documents they need while on the job site. Where wireless service is not available, surveyors can pre-load documents from HubTack's site directly into their Ranger or Recon at the office, then view them on site. Making the documents available on surveyors' data collectors eliminates the need to carry paper copies in the field.

"HubTack's goal is to provide the surveyor with the documents they need where they need them, when they need them" said Andrew G. Parker, President & CEO of HubTack. "Working closely with TDS allowed us to extend our document availability right to the job site."

"We designed the Ranger and Recon to be versatile field tools that help surveyors do their job faster and easier," said TDS President Bill Martin. "Adding HubTack document access takes advantage of our data collectors' wireless capabilities, and it helps surveyors work more productively in the field."
