The theme of Trimble Dimensions 2006-Building Your Connected Site-emphasizes how process integration and intelligent positioning technologies enable surveying, engineering and construction professionals to reduce rework, utilize assets more efficiently, accelerate design updates as well as improve the bidding, planning and billing cycles. A Look Back at Dimensions 2005"Value is created by the integration and connection of multiple technologies. One product isn't enough." With that statement, Steven W. Berglund opened Dimensions 2005, Trimble's first user conference after a six year hiatus. Dimensions 2005 demonstrated Trimble's strength in the engineering and construction industry with more than 1,300 registered attendees from over 50 countries. The conference theme, Move Your Business Forward, focused on applying technology to the needs faced daily by surveying, construction and civil engineering professionals.
According to attendees, Trimble Dimensions 2005 was met with success:
